Diamond Josh has solid claims in a weak affair, with Kallista's Pride, I Wish and Tapa perhaps the ones to make a race of it with the selection. Most of these have been out of form lately, but Diamond Josh came good on only his sixth career outing at Wolverhampton in October. That was in a claimer for Peter Chappel-Hyam, after which he joined David Evans who so nearly produced him to win on a return to Dunstal Park nine days ago. Sent into the lead early by Jamie Spencer, he was caught near the finish by Ruman, but will strip fitter for the run and is taken to go one better today. Kallista's Pride has yet to win on the all-weather but is always likely to come and take a hand when you least expect it. I Wish is not sure to be suited by the drop back to six furlongs, while in contrast it may be too short for Tapa, although her last run can be forgotten as she was hampered early on. She looks held by Kallista's Pride on their running here at the end of November though, and in any case we prefer the claims of Diamond Josh.
