    Verdict

Mick Channon's Analyze has been on the go for some time, and maintains his form well, but tends to win in turn and is difficult to back with confidence. Willoughby's Boy seemed to appreciate the step up to this trip when landing a handicap over course and distance last month but a subsequently disappointing effort and a poor overall strike-rate make him readily opposable. Susan's Dowry is yet to show the same sort of form this winter that saw her win three times 12 months ago and, while she has slipped to an attractive mark, Andrew Turnell's mare is another the bookmakers will be happy to lay. Conrad Allen's Weecandoo has more to do than when winning a maiden last time and the one they all have to beat is Ian Wood's Most-Saucy. A close up third to Kanz Wood at Southwell on Tuesday would no give the daughter of Most Welcome an obvious chance but, with the runner-up there Kumakawa having won well at the same track on Thursday, the form has a solid look to it. A proven performer on the surface, the seven-year-old gets the vote.
