Fairy Wind, a useful performer when trained in Germany, is an interesting debutante for Barney Curley in this lowly grade. The bookmakers are likely to take few chances about the son of Dashing Blade though and it may be worth looking elsewhere. Dean Ivory's Land Of Fantasy is best in on official BHB ratings and should appreciate the return to this trip after a couple of outings over a mile recently. He has to be respected but narrow preference is for Bank On Him. Andrew Reid's gelding was a winner in similar company over course and distance last month and was not disgraced when returning here last week when two lengths behind Indian Blaze (re-opposes on much worse terms) and Prince Minata, having been short of room. Granted a clear passage this time, the eight-year-old should reverse that form and he looks the one to beat. On the form shown when a close third behind Time To Shine in a handicap here last month, Sharp Spice has to be respected off a lightweight 8st 4lbs.
