Just ten runners line up for this nursery sprint but a case can be made for just about all of them so it is with some trepidation that Knight On the Tiles is choice, with Hello Roberto and Smokin Joe put forward as the main dangers. The selection is very versatile as he appears to enjoy any surface and any distance between five furlongs and a mile. He wasn't beaten far in a better race than this back in November and another plus is the booking of Ian Mongan. Smokin Joe is a stable-mate of the selection and must be in the shake up if reproducing his recent running when a close second behind Blofeld. Hello Roberto is steadily improving and must be in with a shout if acting in this Polytrack surface. Course and distance winner Intriguing Glimpse also deserves a mention, but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum Knight On the Tiles is just given the verdict.
