Verdict
For Life, Makabul and Dvinsky are the shortlisted trio here, with For Life set to continue his winning ways. With three wins in 41 starts, Dvinsky does not have a good wins to runs ratio. His recent third was a sound effort, though the feeling remains that he will find at least one too good. Makabul has won three times at Windsor over six furlongs and ran well there again last time to be a close second. His only previous outing here was disappointing and it may be worth waiting until he returns to the Thames side track again before supporting him. For Life has struck up a great rapport for Natalie Gemelova, winning three races from her four rides on the gelding. He handled the track well when last racing here, and this trip clearly suits, as he has won twice since coming back to this distance. For Life is only four pounds higher than when scoring last time and can do so again.
