Fushe Jo is the pick in the opener, with Cornell Precedent, Top Rocker and newcomers Tomorrow's Dancer and Lady In The Bath all worth noting. Howard Johnson will be confident of collecting here with Fushe Jo who is out to get the losses back after his debut defeat at Perth three weeks ago. This half-brother to Arcalis was sent off a warm order but pulled too hard and found Mr Crystal too good. A little more restraint should see him come good here at the expense of Cornell Precedent. The latter has two-and-a-half lengths to find with the selection on Perth running though, and he was rated vastly inferior on the level. Top Rocker should improve on his Kelso introduction, but on a line through the winner Mr Crystal, he should theoretically be held. There are quite a few interesting debutantes such as Tomorrow's Dancer, a Flat maiden who has gone to the right yard. Lady In The Bath and Starbougg should both be noted in the betting, but we are happy to side with Fushe Jo who is the one that they all have to beat.
