Samuel Charles, Katiypour and Mineral Star look the ones to concentrate on here with Samuel Charles getting the vote to follow up a last time win. Katiypour may well benefit from this drop in grade though he has not won in two years. His efforts have suggested he has lost his finishing kick, though his handicap fourth last time gives him a sound chance on the book. A turnaround of two pounds for two lengths should not on the face of it be enough for Mineral Star to reverse form with Samuel Charles on their recent meeting, but the Mark Tompkins yard has struck a purple patch with three winners in the last few days and he can go well. Samuel Charles' last three wins have come at Wolverhampton, but it is interesting that he won on his last visit to Lingfield. He is terrifically consistent, and despite his advancing years, he still possesses enough speed to take this. Samuel Charles can score again.
