In depth

Verdict

Magic Warrior, Rem Time and Piquet look the three to concentrate on in this banded stakes race with the confident vote going to Magic Warrior. The selection has won his last two races in good style and has shaped as if he will stay this far. He again has conditions to suit and if he stays this longer trip he will be hard to beat. Rem Time rates the main danger as he also won well last time out when beating Noorain but that form has since been let down and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Piquet is another that could go well as he has dropped to a handy mark and goes particularly well over this course and distance. Revolve should be spot on now after three runs after a long absence and is another that has place claims but he may be seen to better effect over a longer trip. Of the remainder Hiawatha is another from a shrewd yard that should be monitored in the market but for the winner we return to Magic Warrior who sets the standard in the context of this race.
