In depth

Verdict

Lemonette can continue to progress by following up, with Lisathedaddy and Magical Music taken to give her most to do in this all fillies' affair. It is a bit surprising to see Lemonette dropped back in trip here after her first British success over 12-furlongs at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago, but she appears to possess plenty of scope, and as she receives weight from her main rivals, can overcome that one slight negative, with Eddie Ahern in the plate again. Lisathedaddy has more experience than the selection, and has won three of her 12-career outings to date. It is hard to say whether there is much more improvement to come, but she does seem adaptable as regards preference of trip. There will not be much between her and John Hills's filly, but the latter's 6lb cushion should swing it. Magical Music has suffered for her good run at the end of last year, but will pay to follow again when the handicapper loosens his grip, while the Cyzer pair, Boot 'n Toot and Laugh 'n Cry are both best watched at present. Lemonette is the selection.
