In depth

Verdict

Take A Spin lost a shoe when well beaten on his latest outing and is better judged on an earlier second at Leicester. He should figure in this, while Goodwood Treasure could also be thereabouts after showing improved form over a mile at Kempton last month. However, NUTSHELL has been competing over longer trips since scoring over C&D in June and, off only a 3lb higher mark today, Harry Dunlop's filly gets the vote. It was heavy going when Smart Step got off the mark at Carlisle last week and she'll need to improve again here but If What And Maybe has claims on his recent placed efforts on the Polytrack.
