      Verdict

      A typically competitive sprint in which After The Show is taken to prevail from the hat-trick seeking Smokin Beau and Sands Crooner. There should be plenty of pace on offer here with Smokin Beau having won his last two from the front whilst Drifting Gold can usually be relied upon to race prominently. That should give After The Show a good tow and allow Neil Callan to play his cards late. He hasn't won for some time but is 4lbs lower than for his last success which came over course and distance and should make his presence felt. Fromsong is not without claims whilst Sand Crooner has to be on any short-list given his current form but a chance is taken with After The Show.
