In depth

Verdict

Granary Girl gets the vote in this weak contest with Show Me The Lolly and Guadiana rated as the main dangers. The selection won well last time when beating Harry May at Nottingham. She is clearly on good terms with herself and in what looks an easier race she should take plenty of beating. Show Me The Lolly was a little disappointing at Wolverhampton over 7f last time. She is upped in trip here which has not necessarily brought the best out in her in the past, but she is nonetheless worth consideration in a race that will not take a great deal of winning. Guadiana put in an improved effort at Wolverhampton last time when narrowly beaten behind Rudaki, and if this lightly-raced filly can build on that effort she will not be far away at the finish. Emerald Dancer is fairly consistent and is another with place prospects. However, for the winner we will stick with Granary Girl who should be capable of making it back-to-back wins.
