A'Shamardi, from a stable in outstanding form, hasn't shown much but makes his handicap debut from a very lowly mark. Smiley Bagel and Famous Dynasty have both won three times here but eight-times winner Esspeegee disappointed at Bath after a comfortable victory at Thirsk. Azor Ahai's improved form was put down to a tongue-strap and a step up in trip on Turf so he'll need to transfer that to Polytrack and though Hammy End is consistent he's only won once in 18 starts and is 7lb higher. COTTONOPOLIS has twice finished last on Tapeta at Wolverhampton but his best run to date came on this track in January so a chance is taken he can get back to that kind of form.
