Sir Mark Prescott sends out two debutantes in this fascinating event, Hypnotic and Vale de Lobo, but we believe it may rest between a couple of other newcomers, Wazir and Afrashad, with the last named getting the verdict. Everything has already been said about the Godolphin juveniles this season and Afrashad, although a relatively cheap purchase, could be yet another winning youngster. His American pedigree should be perfect for all-weather racing and if the market speaks in his favour he looks the one to be on. John Gosden also keeps popping up with juvenile winners and as with the selection Wazir also boasts a a totally stateside pedigree. When it comes to the Prescott runners jockey bookings and the betting will be the best guide, although on first glance Hypnotic is just preferred. We can't emphasise enough the importance of the betting, but at this juncture we will plump for Afrashad.
