Verdict

Titan Triumph has been in good form of late, winning four races on the bounce before losing no caste in defeat when chasing home one of today's rivals Red Somerset here last month; a 3lb rise since then looks harsh and a better bet may be MAJURO. Kevin Ryan's five-year-old deserves to get his head in front having been narrowly beaten in three starts since winning at Southwell in September. The return to Polytrack holds no fears for the son of Danetime and, with the yard's runners in good form, he looks worth chancing. Alan McCabe's Capricorn Run came good over seven furlongs at Kempton last time and, while he gets a mile, seven furlongs is probably his ideal trip. Red Somerset is closely matched with Titan Triumph on their recent running and has to be considered along with Richard Hannon's Orchard Supreme, who is better than he showed in a better race at Kempton last time. This looks a decent race and Majuro is taken to win it.
