Mark Usher's DYNAMO DAVE won well enough when taking a hands and heels apprentice handicap here over seven furlongs in November and ran well enough over the same course and distance last month when a close third behind Orangeleg and he may be worth chancing off the same mark today, with the main dangers rated as Copper King and Sweet Virginia. The John Weymes-trained filly makes her first start since April but lack of a recent run need not be of concern with the yard's runners in fair form and she has to be considered. A market move for Louisiade would be of interest but he is hard to back with confidence having been well held in recent starts, although most of those have been on the Fibresand. Les Montague Hall's Riviera Red won what was a poor classified stakes race here in February and he should come on for his recent reappearance but needs to dramatically. Better winning form is probably held by Copper King, who won well here in June but he has been well held in two starts recently and a better bet looks to be Dynamo Dave.
