Top Draw may have improved enough from the experience of her two outings to date to land this maiden with Eastern Hills and Tripod Molly the alternatives. Form is thin on the ground here but Top Draw sets the standard with a fourth placing in a maiden over course and distance in October. Maidens rated in the low 70s finished placed in that contest, an indication it was not anything to get excited about. Top Draw has a good draw and with improvement forthcoming she should go close. Eastern Hills is an unknown quantity but hailing from the Mark Johnson yard has to be respected. A half brother to the former smart Paul Cole performer Cornelius, he will no doubt be more effective over further in the long term but today, the market will prove the best guide as to what is expected. Tripod Molly ran a cracker despite her large odds last time in a Wolverhampton maiden. The winner of that contest was a major market mover with the second a Mark Johnson newcomer. Should she have progressed from that initial experience she should be in the shake up. Thankuforthemusic hails from a shrewd yard that have been quite this winter. A 25,000 purchase, the Osborne yard must be respected when the market speaks positively for their horses and today is no different. Top Draw is out selection to land this maiden.
