Glendale can gain another win here at the expense of Ten Cents and Amnesty, with It Must Be Speech the only other worth a mention. Glendale had Amnesty over four lengths away in third place when scoring over the course-and-distance a week ago, and although the latter can now reoppose on six-pound better terms, the manner of Glendale's success leads us to believe that he is well capable of confirming that form. Dean Ivory's charge travelled well throughout that contest, and was probably good value for more than the winning margin indicated. He looks the one to beat again, with Ten Cents perhaps the main stumbling block. She was a beaten favourite when finishing right behind Glendale at Wolverhampton prior to the latter's subsequent victory, and on today's terms is entitled to be even closer. Chris Wall's filly is still a maiden though and has been costly to follow so far. It Must Be Speech seems to prefer a Fibresand surface so may be outpaced even at this lowly level, and we return to Glendale as the answer.
