held up towards rear, headway going well to chase leader 2f out, led over 1f out, soon clear, easily
held up mid-division, headway 5f out, led 3f out, headed over 1f out, soon no chance with winner
started slowly, held up rear, headway wide 2f out, kept on, nearest finish but never troubled leaders
soon led, ridden and headed 3f out, weakened over 1f out
held up, headway on inside 2f out, kept on same pace
tracked leaders for 1 mile, weakened 3f out, tailed off
tracked leader, ridden and weakened over 2f out, soon tailed off
close up, chased leaders well over 1f out, stayed on one pace from over 1f out
The finale is a modest handicap that shouldn¿t take too much winning and Cold Turkey can land this at the expense of Danehill Lad and Forever My Lord. Gary Moore¿s top weight is chasing a hat-trick following victories here and at Goodwood. The success over the mile and a half trip here came late last month when just getting the better of today¿s rival Danehill Lad, the selection is two pounds better off today so should confirm the form over this slightly longer trip. If anything goes amiss with the selection then Danehill Lad could be the one to benefit, but Forever My Lord should also make a bold bid. His recent efforts haven¿t been too inspiring but he did manage a victory at Musselburgh back in August and has run well here in the past. But on this occasion Cold Turkey is taken to not break the winning habit.
