Henry Cecil is double-handed with Hazarayna and Marieschi, and it is the latter that is preferred, with Calabash Cove and Full Of Promise another pair to mention. Henry Cecil is enjoying a revival at present, and so it must pay to keep on the right side of all of his runners, even those that have yet to race. Both his challengers make their debuts today, and we shall side with Marieschi whose family screams middle-distance. He is sure to have been well galloped, and let us face it, this race will not take that much winning. Hazarayna is a half-sister to some useful sorts, and connections will be keen to get a win out of her to enhance her paddock value, while Calabash Cove returns to the fray after an outing in Dubai in February and is perhaps best watched. Full Of Promise finished fifth behind some Oaks possibles headed by Sunlight on the Polytrack here last October, and a good run by the latter earlier today will advertise the claims of Amanda Perrett's filly. Hubble Bubble is entered for the Derby and steps up to a more suitable trip after floundering at Catterick, but does not make great appeal, and in a race in which bets are best kept to the minimum, it is Marieschi that gets the vote.
