Sunlight gets the nod over Folk Opera and Brisk Breeze, with Gull Wing also worth a mention. Michael Jarvis holds the key here as he saddles Sunlight against a former inmate Folk Opera, and it is Sunlight that can prevail despite lining up without the benefit of a run this term. This daughter of Sinndar found only the useful Light Shift too good on her Newmarket debut last September, and it was no surprise when she duly went one better on the Polytrack surface here a month later. She holds Elyaadi on that debut form, although the latter will lack for nothing in fitness, having scored at Catterick 17-days ago. A bigger danger may well be the selection's former stablemate Folk Opera who has joined Godolphin since landing a Newbury maiden three weeks ago. It will be interesting to see whether she can spark a revival for the boys in blue, but given their current record, she can be taken on. She should at least hold Brisk Breeze on Newbury running though, while Gull Wing needs to step up again on her Leicester victory. If it develops into a tactical affair, there is none better than Philip Robinson to have on your side, and so Sunlight makes most appeal.
