        Verdict

        Novice winner Going Places came up short at Kempton when sent off favourite on his handicap debut. He still has scope to improve but Lethal Lunch was beaten over track and trip with Corazon Espinado behind having earlier won over a mile here when beating Moraheb. Zhui Feng is not the force of old but made a winning start for new connections at Kempton when beating Baby Steps and Ryan Moore takes over the reins today. GORING was still capable of winning off a 4lb higher mark here at this time last year and with a couple of recent outings under his belt, the all-weather veteran may well return to form with an apprentice taking a further 5lb off his back. Sky Commander is less exposed than Kondratiev Wave of the remainder.
