    Verdict

    CARIBENO notched-up a sixth successive win when scoring over track and trip a couple of days ago. Placed to perfection by Sir Mark Prescott so far, he still looks ahead of the handicapper racing under a 5lb penalty given he’s due to be raised 10lb after this. The progressive Byford looks a threat if lasting home having completed a hat-trick with last month’s victory over 1m2f but Songkran is proven over this far having also scored over 1m2f here recently. Crimson King won over a longer trip here last week but that was in Class 5 company and he carries 5lb extra.
