The vote here goes to Mouseski ahead of Sherkin Island and Kalca Mome. Mouseski continues on the upgrade and following his Fontwell win six days ago, he has now won five of his six races. He must have come out of that last race well and, despite his penalty, this former hunter chaser should still run a big race. The Philip Hobbs-trained Kalca Mome has to be respected as he is now seven pounds below the provisional mark he ran from when scoring at Sandown in March and he will strip fitter for his recent seasonal return. It is possible that the Jonjo O'Neill-trained Sherkin Island is ahead of the handicapper as he looked good when winning at Newbury in March and remains unexposed, but Porak has a big absence to overcome and Irish Fashion is hard to build a case for. Once again, then, Mouseski just gets the call from Sherkin Island.
