A race in which the market will give us most clues and Barraland is the recommendation ahead of Adab and Primed and Poised. Barraland ran a solid enough race second time out from an unfavourable draw and should set the benchmark for this race from a formbook perspective. Adab is bred to get further in time but Invincible Spirit's ability as a sire of precocious stock should not be ignored if money is seen on course. Primed and Poised is related to a number of sprinters and should be capable of handling the surface on breeding. Ballinskelligs Boy was slowly away on debut and must be better than that bare formline suggests. Rod Millman's horses are running well so King Bathwick cannot be dismissed from calculations. Barraland has the edge of experience on this occasion and looks the one to be on.
