A chance is taken with Seven Samurai, who edges the verdict over Cape Of Luck and King Alfie, while Dancing Storm is an interesting one to note first time in a handicap and is worth noting in the betting market. Dancing Storm is related to some useful types on her dam's side and, although she has improvement to find, she has scope from her current mark. She has each-way claims off a feather weight. King Alfie has held his form well since finishing second in a claimer at Haydock in the summer. He has won twice since then but faces a stiffer test back in handicap company. Cape Of Luck showed a liking for this course when winning here last month. He ran better than his finishing position would suggest when he was subsequently ninth in the Horris Hill and will be a big threat to them all if he truly gets the trip. He should breeze it on pedigree but there is the suspicion that he may have done enough for the season though and he is not one to go overboard about. Therefore, it can pay to take a chance with Seven Samurai, who has improved in leaps and bounds since he was introduced over course and distance in July. The son of Mark Of Esteem has finished behind some decent types in his last couple of starts and the 6lb he receives from the top weight makes him an attractive betting proposition in this company.
