This is a competitive maiden in which Best Double gets the narrow vote over Endless Night and Spearit. The selection hails from a yard in good form and she ran well last time when finishing third behind Cote D¿Argent at Musselburgh over 7f. She is dropped in trip today which should suit, and she is taken to lead them home with the very capable Nicky Mackay doing the steering. Endless Night is interesting as he made a pleasing debut over 6f at Nottingham when a good third behind Bathwick Emma. He hails from a yard whose juveniles normally come on for the run and if he can build on that debut effort then he could go close. Spearit is a likeable colt who has been running in some competitive races. He is a consistent sort and he should be capable of claiming some place money. Macademy Royal is an interesting newcomer from the Hughie Morrison yard and he is one to note in the market, but for the winner we will stick with Best Double.
