Brassini, The Twelve Steps and Asian Power are three against the field in this tight handicap and the tentative nomination is given to The Twelve Steps. The selection was a fair third behind Van Bossed last time out, looks sure to have come on for the run and off what remains a fair mark he looks the one to be on. Brassini rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Corrybrough but the draw could have been kinder and at likely odds he is taken on. Asian Power is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he keeps rising in the weights for being beaten and he is taken on with this in mind. First Trim looks weighted up to his best and may need the run after a 217-day break. Autumn Blades has the ability but will need to improve for the fitting of first time cheek pieces while Saranome is unexposed so could go well at a price but Twelve Steps is out idea of the winner.
