Professor Higgins can land the opener at the expense of Tide Slider and Canadian Champagne. The selection has been a model of consistency but without success since reappearing for a spring campaign. He caught the eye when a decent third of fourteen to Mirage Dore at Sedgefield last time out. He is still only lightly raced and will still be progressive so with that in mind he has to be respected. Tide Slider is another to note as he ran well to finish second to Quillan Hill at Market Rasen last time out. Again he is only lightly races and has further improvement in him so any market moves should be noted. Canadian Champagne has winning form between the flags but exactly what that adds up to has yet to be realised. Having said that he does come from a top yard whose runners are always respected at this track. But for the winner we return to Professor Higgins.
