Frankie Dettori is back in action today with a couple of rides on the card including VELVET MORN (NAP). Bill Knight’s filly improves with every start and made all to win a novices race at Kempton last month with plenty to spare. There should be more to come now handicapping and she’s preferred to recent course and distance runner-up Sussudio. The latter was beaten only a head and should figure again, though finished behind Bequest earlier when Ron Hodges’s charge was placed at Wolverhampton. Avon Green slips further down the weights while Vino Rosso showed steady progress last year and returns to 6f for this.
