Waqt opened his account with a victory over 7f at Lingfield last time, though could have been better drawn for this and has something to prove over today’s trip. Purple Paddy also has a wide draw having scored over course and distance in February but could only manage third off today’s higher mark last time and is closely matched on collateral form with BOXATRICKS. A winner at Newcastle last year, the latter was having his first outing since December when placed here recently and should go close with that run under his belt. Screaming Gemini could go well back on Polytrack having struggled at Southwell last time but Topology’s earlier success here came over 1m2f.
