In depth

Verdict

The penalised Masaru made a winning start at Windsor but was a disappointing favourite for a valuable sales race at York in August and hasn’t raced since. You Little Ripper posted a better effort at Newcastle on his reappearance when caught in the closing stages by a William Haggas-trained odds-on favourite and that should give the handler a good line on the chances of CRISTAL BREEZE. Already gelded, the newcomer is a half-brother to three winners and may well prove good enough. Breeding suggests Bighearted will be seen to better effect over further but Huddle and Circle Of Stars look likely improvers.
