Smart Starprincess is on a roll, as is the stable, and she is taken to complete a hat-trick at the expense of Forzenuff and Alizar. Trainer Paul Blockley has been in great form over the past fortnight, with Smart Starprincess not the least of his successes, the filly gaining back-to-back wins at Southwell over Christmas. The faster Polytrack should not stop her bid for a treble as she ran very well on the surface in April when in the care of Philip McEntee. She lines up on a fair mark for this class F contest and should make a bold bid. Forzenuff has topweight to overcome but has the assistance of Eddie Ahern, always a plus point on the all-weather, while Alizar could well appreciate the drop back in trip after being found wanting over seven furlongs of late. Head of State may be on the upgrade, while the market may tell us if Princess Kai is fancied again. In a fairly wide-open event, we stay loyal to Smart Starprincess.
