It's hard to get away from MAINSTAY who should comfortably account for Look Officer and Pyrus Time. The selection was turned over as favourite on her debut but she should make no mistake this time around. Success is vital for the paddock value of this sister to Lateen Sails who will increase her value substantially if she can claim the spoils. The rival that lowered her colours on debut was only rated 66 and she faces a couple rated higher than that in this line-up but she's open to improvement and should take the beating. Look Officer and Pyrus Time are both rated 68 and the former is making her debut for a new yard so is well worth monitoring for signs of confidence in the market. Pyrus Time has finished runner-up on four of his eight runs here so there are no concerns about his ability to handle the track and he merits respect as he returns to action after a short break. Sinchiroka showed ability in one start for another yard last term and needs to be monitored in the market along with the newcomers but this should be plain sailing for Mainstay.
