      Verdict

Another interesting maiden for the course and Fillies Mile entry Sundrop is probably the reason Mr Dettori makes the journey to Lingfield today. The daughter of Sunday Silence will have to master Grandalea, who may also be Ascot bound, if she is to take up her engagement at the Berkshire course next month. But her pedigree suggests that she will have no problem with the surface and it will be surprising if David Loder has not got her ready to fire on all cylinders for her belated debut. Zwadi has done little wrong and rates as the biggest danger, but she may be vulnerable to a more progressive type and she may find Sundrop too precocious to handle today.
