The market should offer most clues and Striding Edge is put forward in the absence of that vital information with Mythical Border and Souter's Sister the likely dangers. William Muir's horses are running well at the moment and it was no surprise to see Striding Edge backed on debut. The money was left behind on that occasion but the experience won't have been lost and a bold account can be anticipated. Mythical Border is bred on American lines and is arguably destined to be better over further. Nevertheless, her father had plenty of precocious speed so if she has inherited those genes, she has to be a player. Souter's Sister ran green on debut and is much better than the bare form suggests. That Windsor race looks to have been one of the better juvenile races to have been run at the track this term. Sonhador showed plenty of pace on debut at Folkestone and will pick up a race. Sylvester Kirk did train a winner the other day so True Britannia is offered more than just a cursory glance in the market. A race that should throw up plenty of future winners and Striding Edge is our idea of the most likely winner.
