In depth

Verdict

Hurricane Hen is proving hard to win with but this could be the easiest task that he has faced to date and so Jim Boyle's charge is fancied to get off the mark at the main expense of Martha. The selection comes here on the back of a narrow defeat at Kempton when he just failed to reel in the winner Ten Down. That claimer was no great shakes but his previous form looks solid and whilst he didn't shine on his one try here in the past, he will relish his first crack over the minimum trip here. Evenstorm needs to be watched for market support, whilst Martha is of interest. She is dropped in trip having shown some ability on her debut, and this expensive purchase has claims although the drop in trip doesn't look ideal. Szaba showed plenty of toe on her debut and has a chance if learning from that run, whilst Heron and Judge 'n Jury both have plenty to find on official ratings with the selection. Hurricane Hen has the form and he gets the nod to win this opener.
