Lord Mayor, Rydal and Lorien Hill look the three main contenders here with the former getting the verdict. Sir Michael Stoute's colt is steadily getting the hang of things and improved to run a gallant third at Leicester last month when a well backed favourite and with more improvement expected he can land the spoils here. Rydal has similar claims to the selection having improved for a debut run at Haydock, to be just touched off by I Won't Dance at headquarters at the end of last month and he'll be right up there again. The Barry Hills trained Lorien Hill adds extra spice to the race having finished close behind King Of Cashel at Chester on her last outing. Rydal and Lorien Hill have the scope to go close but Lord Mayor is expected to take the honours.
