It may only be a lowly seller but it's a fascinating race, with both Hill Magic and Notty Bitz given chances, but for the winner we have to go for Fife And Drum. John Akehurst's gelding landed a similar race to this at Yarmouth back in July and a couple of recent seconds suggest he could be on the way back to the winners enclosure. Hill Magic is a consistent performer in this type of company, and after winning at Chepstow in early September ran well to finish a close up sixth behind Muyassir in a better race at Goodwood last time. Meanwhile Notty Bitz returned to somewhere near his two year old form when chasing home Ziet D'Alsace at Yarmouth a fortnight ago. Mistral Sky and Burgundy are also worth a mention but Fife And Drum should beat off his rivals.
