Very open looking this, but we'll select Gaye Kellaway's Romany Nights to land a quickfire double, ahead of Bobby Rose and Al Gillani. The selection hosed up on Wednesday evening at Yarmouth in an apprentice handicap, and in a better class, and a repeat could be on the cards. Bobby Rose was a decent 4th last time out, finishing just behind Bollin Franny but ahead of Mambazo. That was on the all-weather here. A change in the weights could bring about a reversal of the places. Al Gillani was second in a better race here last month in his last run. While many of these have won, over course and or distance, with the exception of Romany Nights, it was so long ago the pictures are in black and white. It's a minimum stakes race, but as we gaze into our crystal ball, we see the name Romany Nights.
