From this small field we'll select Agente Parmigiano, Masamah and Evelyn May for our shortlist, with the pick being Agente Parmigiano. It would be folly to immediately rule any out though as it looks very competitive; indeed support for the sole newcomer Big Stormy could be significant. Agente Parmigiano may be able to make the most of being drawn in stall one to get the better of Masamah who won a better race than this at York on debut in May. Gerard Butler's colt will appreciate the step back to 5 furlongs over which he won on his penultimate race, when making all to justify favouritism at Yarmouth. Art Preview won here on the all-weather on his only other outing, while Evelyn May could try and set the pace to win from the front as she did last time out when a very short price at Great Leighs. A very open race, but we'll side with Agente Parmigiano.
