held up, headway over 1f out, took 2nd inside final furlong, stayed on, not reached winner
in touch, ridden over 2f out, soon lost place and weakened quickly over 1f out
tracked leaders, not troubled winner over 1f out, lost 2nd inside final furlong
started slowly, always behind, struggling over 2f out
always behind, outpaced over 2f out
dwelt, soon pressed leader, led 2f out, clear entering final furlong, ran on strongly, ridden out
chased leaders to 2f out, weakened over 1f out
slowly into stride, always rear group, never a factor
behind, soon ridden along, kept on final furlong, never nearer
started slowly, always rear group, never on terms
led, headed 2f out, kept on until weakened quickly 1f out
This lowly seller isn't a contest to get too excited about, but if forced to have a positive opinion, we'd side with POSITIVE OPINION, in preference to Silent Treatment and Missus Christie. Positive Opinion will be happy dropping down in distance after 3 runs at 7 furlongs, when although not in contention, was far from totally outclassed. She also drops down a grade. Barry Millman's got among the best strike rates here, although so too has Gaye Kellaway, who sends out Silent Treatement. He's previously only raced over the minimum trip, but did win last time out on the all weather here. Trying to make all may be the tactics again. Missus Christie won at Haydock on debut over this trip in a claimer, but then couldn't step up a grade so drops down again and will no doubt have supporters. But our pick of a moderate bunch is Positive Opinion.
