Verdict
ALEDAID beat little to land the odds over 6f at Kempton last month but hardly broke sweat in doing so. He should stay 7f this year and is preferred to Bow And Arrow. The latter disappointed when a well-beaten second over a mile last time but scored over today's trip earlier while Period Piece has joined a new trainer having landed a claimer at Dundalk recently. Course winner Marmalad has the beating of Them And Us on collateral form while Grand Spirit ended last year with a convincing maiden win at Brighton and Luca Cumani's colt should go on to better things this season.
