Verdict

Warden Bond won a similar low grade affair at Wolverhampton in January but remains 5lb higher. Claude Greenwood has gone close the last twice but has been raised 7lb as a consequence so the vote goes to JONNIE SKULL. He finished runner-up over track and trip before scoring over hurdles last month and arrives in the best form. Ever Yours has a shout on his win at Kempton in February where he beat Warbond, who has only won once in 57 outings.
