        Verdict

        This looks between the top three in the handicap with the vote going to GREY MIRAGE (NAP). Marco Botti’s charge is not the force of old but has slipped down the weights this year and was beaten only a length in a tougher handicap here last month. He's No Saint has been threatening to score in similar company at Chelmsford and has every chance while Mr Bossy Boots won a Class 2 contest at Newcastle during the summer, though has not raced since July. Of the rest, Gallipoli has been placed over 6f at this level but Pearl Spectre’s earlier double at Chelmsford came in a lower grade.
