In the opener, Myrtle Bay gets the nod ahead of mainly Scroll and Zilcash. Myrtle Bay has to be on the shortlist following two fair efforts, the latest of them coming behind Luna Landing, and that form rates in the low 70s, which is more than enough to give him a shout today. A Derby entrant, Scroll takes a big step up in trip after showing promise at five furlongs, and he warrants consideration, as does Zilcash, who made late headway on his debut and now also steps up in trip. Prince Duval has also shown promise, but at a lower level than some of his opponents, we feel, while, being from the Eoghan O'Neill yard which is doing so well with its juveniles, Dancers Of Kerry has to be respected. The market might guide as to the respective chances of the others in this race where two-year-olds race over a mile for the first time this season but, for the selection, we return to Myrtle Bay.
