        Verdict

        Mungo's Quest has been thereabouts over 7f recently but 17 previous attempts without success fails to inspire confidence. Tie A Yellowribbon scored over today’s trip at Chelmsford last year and William Buick takes over the reins while TREPIDATION gets a change of headgear. The latter has already won twice on the all-weather this year and can race off his last winning mark if apprentice George Rook’s allowance is taken into account. Steal The Scene looks no nearer winning and Compass Point’s earlier success came over 1m4f at Southwell.
