You can give chances to about half the field in this handicap on the Polytrack so it might be worth chancing some value and we do so by selecting SPINNING RIDGE ahead of Stanley Goodspeed while Almahaza can go well. Consistent in the main the selection has gone close a few times under this burden and wouldn't have to improve much on earlier efforts this season to get up here. Stanley Goodspeed started the season with a bang landing back-to-back races. He's not quite hit those heights since but now just 3lbs above his last winning mark he should go better. Almahaza can be a little inconsistent but there was a lot to like about his seasonal return and we could see him come on for the run. If fit Fernando Torres should go close off this rating if taking to this faster surface while Piccolo Mondo should be seen to better effect with a couple of pounds removed from his back. It's a race where you could mention half the field and still not get the winner so we opt to chance some value with Spinning Ridge.
