Aberama Gold finished ahead of Laheg, Tolstoy and Lequinto when runner-up to Count Otto over track and trip last month. Shalaa Asker has won twice at Chelmsford and also at Southwell this year but is worse off at the weights than when behind WALKING ON CLOUDS (NAP) at Newcastle in January. Grant Tuer’s gelding is 5-12 on the all-weather but is having a first run on Polytrack. However, if he takes to the surface, he could still be on a decent mark and his rider’s claim is also a plus so he’s preferred to fellow northern raider Adeb. Rattling beat The Green Man here in January and a subsequent defeat was over 7f so the bottom weight is not out of this under 7lb claimer Alec Voikhansky.
