HILLS AND DALES (NAP) proved a disappointment on his handicap bow having broken his maiden over track and trip. But Marc Monaghan's 5lb claim should help his cause in this and he is just preferred to Rennie Mackintosh. The latter ran well when third at Wolverhampton last time considering he was upped 10lb for winning at Southwell earlier. Oriental Splendour had a couple of lengths to spare over Chevallier when runner-up at Kempton in November and Doncaster second Crack Shot should also be winning this year.
